SOZO PRayer Ministry

Saved. Healed. Delivered.

The Bethel Sozo ministry began in Bethel Church in Redding, California and we have church members who are trained in Sozo, here at St Helens Christian Life Centre.

WHAT IS A SOZO?

Bethel Sozo is not counselling! It is a unique inner healing and

deliverance ministry, its aim being to help people establish a real and intimate connection with the Godhead; Father, Son and Holy Spirit through forgiveness and dealing with hindrances from the past. This frees people and allows them to move forward into their destiny with Him.

Bethel Sozo uses a set of tools, it is the application and use of these tools (The Father Ladder, Four Doors, Presenting Jesus, The Wall) that defines a Bethel Sozo.

what happens in a sozo?

A Bethel Sozo is a safe place and all information shared remains confidential and is not discussed with others. The only exception being

information where there is a legal obligation to report it to the police.

A sozo session usually takes no more than two hours and is conducted by two team members. The ‘First’ leads the sozo. The ‘Second’ usually remains silent. Their role is to listen to Holy Spirit, pray and to keep a record of all the truths the person having the sozo hears from The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Second may also communicate with the First, using Post-Its or similar, about what they hear and discern.

All notes, with the exception of the record of the truths the person has heard from God and what He has shown them, are destroyed at the end of each session. The record of what they have ‘heard’ and ‘seen’ is given to the person at the end of the session.
